About lip blush tattoo.

The treatment

What is lip blush?

Lip blush is a form of semi-permanent make-up. Pigment is applied across the lips to add colour, definition and the appearance of a more even shape. Results are soft and natural-looking — not a bold lip liner. The colour heals lighter than it appears on the day and lasts 2–3 years.

The process

How it works

A consultation is carried out before any treatment. The colour, shape and coverage are discussed and agreed beforehand. A topical numbing cream is applied to keep the appointment as comfortable as possible. The full appointment takes around 2.5–3 hours. A top-up is recommended 6–8 weeks later once the lips have fully healed.

Aftercare

Healing & aftercare

There is some swelling and intensity of colour immediately after treatment — this settles significantly within 48 hours. The lips will go through a peeling phase at around day 5–7. The final healed result is visible at 4–6 weeks. Full aftercare instructions are given at every appointment.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Around 2–3 years, though this varies with skin type, sun exposure and aftercare. A top-up appointment extends and refreshes the result.
No — that's not the look this is aiming for. Colour is matched to your natural lip tone and healed results settle much softer than the fresh application. Well-done lip blush reads as "your lips, just more defined," not as makeup.
We talk through your natural lip tone, the shape and intensity you want, and any medical considerations. This isn't rushed — lip blush is a considered decision, not an add-on.
No, it's part of the process. It's booked around 6–8 weeks after the first session, once healing is complete, to fill in any patchy areas and settle the final colour.
Yes, completely. Lip blush gives you a base tone — you can still wear whatever you'd normally wear on top.
Certain medical conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and active cold sores rule it out for the time being. This is all covered at consultation, before any commitment is made.
The initial session starts from £150, with the top-up appointment priced separately and confirmed at consultation.
